Important changes to Interlay support for Domestic Customers

This News Item contains Important information for Domestic Customers regarding the status of Interlay and what support we offer.

Following the Association’s Annual General Meeting held in December 2017, Interlay has re-positioned itself to provide support to installers, suppliers and others working in the installation industry. As the only independent paving contractors’ trade association, Interlay is the over-arching trade association for our industry and will now be focusing on contractor’s needs for their business and employees, rather than operating as a source of direct recommendation for consumers.

From the beginning of April 2018, Interlay now provides membership on an ‘approved installer’ basis either from original Interlay membership gained by our own vigorous vetting procedure, or by vetting and approval by supporting installer schemes. These currently include the Brett Approved Installer Scheme and the Bradstone Assured Installer Scheme, to which customers should firstly seek support for any inquiries regarding their chosen Installer or other product inquiries before contacting Interlay.

Interlay will offer support to any unresolved issues with our members but as an Association with the primary aim of supporting Installers, the first point of contact for Domestic Customers for technical, installation and product questions should be with the installer and their supporting Installer Scheme:
