JOB OF THE YEAR WINNERS 2006

A big congratulations to Dreamscape for the wonderful work completed on this patioed back garden!!  Not only did this fantastic piece of work win them a job of the month but they are also the lucky winners of 2006's Job of the Year!!!

As the above photo shows, before the work was carried out the lawn was large and in poor condition, requiring constant maintenance. Dreamscape turned most of the old lawn over to different sizes, colours and finishes of block paving thus creating a much more manageable and eye-catching space.

This beautiful diamond design creates an interesting focal point and serves to break up the continuous area of paving.

The paved pathway shown above gives the garden the illusion of length and width whilst also leaving a smaller, more manageable lawn in line with the needs of the household.

The lights embedded on the pathway's curved edge, provide an interesting design feature, making the whole garden accessible throughout the day and into the evening.

The slate water feature on the left is one of a number of additional design features that combine to make Dreamscape's winning entry an inventive and practical garden transformation.
