Job of the Year Winners 2008

A big congratulations to Barton Block Paving for doing a tremendous job on this patioed back garden and winning Job of the Year 2008!

Before the work started the garden look tired and was in need of a re-vamp! Simon of Barton Block Paving sat down with the customers and discussed what idea's, shapes and materials they had in mind for the design of their back patio.

The site was cleared and work began, the garden was dugout to the correct levels and the new design started to take shape.

Sunset Brett Tumbled Sandstone was chosen for the paving slabs which complimented the walling. A raised circle area was built and a half moon area was created which was filled with high quality top soil, a layer of terrain, then covered with a layer of gravel and Mediterranean plants where planted.

The customer came up with a crazy, yet fabulous centre point for the back patio, a putting green area. Samples where shown, the putting green was laid and became the 18th hole!
